I came back to Detroit for a visit and decided I wanted to be nostalgic and pay Mama Mia's a visit. I had no expectations. We ordered a pizza and pasta dish. Both were cooked perfectly and were absolutely delicious. Our servers name was Taylor and she helped make for a great experience. She was funny, witty and very attentive. Any restaurant that has survived for over 65 years with the same family must be doing something right. The food was great, value oriented and worth a dine in. Thanks Taylor and thanks Mama Mia's. ”
“ The food was excellent. I had chicken parmigiana. Two large chicken patties cooked perfectly. Angel hair pasta and sauce was delicious. My husband had Dante's inferno. The spice was perfect and the portions were enormous. Our friends had lasagna and shrimp with garlic and oil. They said theirs was delicious as well. Freshly baked breadsticks were yummy as well. The service was exceptional. It was pretty empty in the restaurant, not sure why because the food is amazing. Very reasonable prices as well. Definitely would come back when in the area. ”
